Masters Lacrosse in B.C...

So you're slowing down and you're done playing with the big boys or maybe you just want to try out the game for the first time because your son makes it look so easy. If your 35 or over then Masters lacrosse is for you.

What is 'Masters'?
Masters lacrosse in B.C. is box lacrosse with limited contact and limited gear played indoors in arenas throughout the spring and summer.

Who can play?
Masters lacrosse is enjoyed by players 35 or older including Grand Masters of 45 and older. There are many different teams through out the province all playing at different levels from the Division #2 where newbies and veterans alike play right up to Division #1 for the serious and skilled players. If your new to the sport, a former player or even if your playing Senior 'C' that year then your eligible to play Masters lacrosse in B.C.

Where and when do we play?
We play all over the province from April though to our year end tournament in July. Most teams have a home arena time slot that they use weekly. Games are mostly made up by arranging match ups with other teams as there is no set run scheduled games.

The purpose of this site is to link all the various teams through out B.C. together and allow better communication between teams and players in an effort to build and develop the Masters level of lacrosse.

How do I get involved as a player?
As this web site grows you will be able to go to the contact section to find a local team and the right fit for your pace and caliber of play. In the future you will be able to look up floor time and tournament dates. As well there is the 'Lax Masters' email newsletter that you can subscribe to. This will blast when there is timely news to help all the masters subscribers keep up to date with lacrosse events.

How do I get my team involved?
If you run a team then we are looking for you to supply team information such contact names and numbers, arena time availability as well as any other information such as tournaments or events that you might be hosting. Last year several teams increased their rosters with players contacting them through this web site so get your team involved today.

We require a small annual fee of $10 per team (payable March 1st) that goes towards the building and maintenance of this site. Please contact me for more information.
