The new decade has started off with a blast for Masters here in British Columbia. The off season was far from quiet as several teams recently participated in a special Washington Stealth pre-game tournament down in Everett Washington.

The North Shore Cowboys, Surrey Firefighters, Langley Pioneers and the Coasters all traveled down the I5 to

show the local Washington State lax fans what Masters lacrosse was all about here in B.C. After the Stealth warmed up in the early morning the Masters teams hit the turf and played a round robin tournament. A tune up for the upcoming North Shore Ice Breaker in April.

The North Shore Cowboys will be hosting their 4th Annual Ice Breaker Tournament again this coming April. What has now become a tradition the Cowboys will start up the BC Masters league with the first tournament of the year featuring both Division 1 and 2 classes.

Last years winners were the Ladner Pioneers in Division 1 while the new Vancouver Justice took the Division 2 trophy.
