With spring arriving it can only mean that Masters Lacrosse here in BC is just around the corner.

The 4th annual North Shore Ice Breaker is about to begin with the Division 2 teams hitting the floor early on Friday April 2nd followed right afterwords by the Division 1 teams.

After winning the Division 1 portion of the Ice Breaker two years in a row, The Ladner Pioneers wonder if this is the year someone steps up to give them a run for their money.  New to the division this year is Poco as well as long time Masters rivals the Coasters so things are sure to heat up the arena this year while the host team the North Shore Cowboys round out the division.

In Division 2 the Vancouver Justice hope to retain their title as Ice Breaker champions after the 9-2 victory over the North Shore #2 team.  The South Fraser Stickmen and Port Moody both return for revenge while the Surrey Firefighters return with a new look team that is sure to challenge everyone this year.
